Since 2015
SweatSquad began with a simple belief: training feels different when someone knows your name, understands your goals, and is glad you came back.
Our Story
In 2015, Marcus Reyes brought eight friends together around a single power rack on Foundry Street. There was a notebook for the programming and time to give each person useful attention. That small room set the standard for everything that followed.
As the club grew, we kept the parts that mattered: small groups, thoughtful progressions, and a coach willing to adapt the plan. Training should give you something to take into your life, rather than ask you to organise your whole life around it.

Mission
Give people the guidance, the space, and the encouragement to keep moving forward. Build confidence in the basics and a relationship with training that can grow over time.
Vision
A Portland where more people feel at home in a training space, and where getting stronger means having more capacity for the people, places, and pursuits they love.

Weekly Classes
“The best plan is the one you can come back to. Let’s build that one.”
Some weeks you have more to give. Some weeks, getting through the door is the win. Good coaching makes room for both, with a clear next step and a reason to keep going.
Community
Our members bring different schedules, experiences, and reasons for walking through the door. What connects them is the shared effort: learning something difficult, making time for themselves, and celebrating the next person’s progress too.
From the early-morning regulars to the after-work crew, there is room to find your own rhythm. You don’t need to be the loudest or strongest person in the room to belong here.

Come meet the people, see the floor, and try a session. Your next chapter can start with a simple hello.
